I've tried my best Perry Mason defense, but without any friends or relatives in either high school administration or sports participation, I could only do so much. Anti-footballers at the DCDB forum are saying that high school football is funded at the expense of other activities such as band. I don't know whether it's partially funded or what (maybe some of you can set us straight), but I DO know that football is THE money sport in high school football and that its ticket sales funds other sports activities. There are a number of diverse opinions on the subject so it would be best to start with the first message in the thread in order to get the entire picture.
